Waltham Rev. Lawrence C. Cedrone of Waltham died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Saint Patricks Manor, Framingham. He was 83. Born in Newton, the son of the late Lawrence and Marion (Roche) Cedrone, he graduated from Saint Columbkilles High School in Brighton. After attending Boston College he entered Saint Johns Seminary in Brighton. Father Cedrone was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston in May, 1947. Until his retirement in 1995, Father Cedrone served as Pastor of Saint Joachim Parish in Rockport for twenty-two years. He had also been the chaplain for the Rockport Police and Fire Departments and a past president of the Rockport Rotary Club. He was also active in the church music ministry and celebrated his Golden Jubilee in 1997. Father Cedrone had also served in parishes in Ipswich, Wakefield, Swampscott, Westwood and Lowell. He leaves his sister, Mary H. Cutler of Waltham; his brother-in-law, Albert Rosinski of Foxboro; two nieces, M. Joy Connearney of Clinton and Janet C. Lincoln and her husband Philip of Lancaster and his grandnephew, Andrew Lincoln. He was also the brother of the late Teresa Rosinski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 36 Cameron Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140.
