Lawrence J. Lane

Waltham - Mr. Lawrence J. Lane, Jr., of Waltham, died Thursday March 15, 2007 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 68.<br><br>Born and raised in Waltham, a son of the late Lawrence J. and Mary (O’ Halloran) Lane, Sr., Mr. Lane was an avid Waltham High School football fan. For over forty years he delivered the Waltham News Tribune to patients at the former Waltham Hospital.<br><br>He leaves one sister, Barbara A. Huff and her husband, Albion, of Waltham, and his nieces and nephews, Susan M. Huff, Dr. Nancy A. Huff, Ann Marie E. Huff, John Lawrence Huff, Patricia E. Huff and Mark E. Huff.<br><br>The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.<br><br>Visiting hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made to Greater Waltham Association for Retarded Citizens, 56 Chestnut Street, Waltham, MA 02453.<br>
