Orlando, Fla. Mr. Leo L. Dunham, of Orlando, formerly of Waltham, died Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was 81. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Leslie and Esther (Slamin) Dunham, he lived in Waltham before moving to Orlando in 1989. Leo was a graduate of Waltham High School and during World War II he served with the United States Navy. Until his retirement, he worked as a quality control supervisor for BASF in Bedford. Leo had been a member of the PFC John M. Sullivan USMC VFW Post No. 10334 in Waltham and American Legion Post No. 286 in Orlando. He had also been a former member of the Elks Lodge No. 3564 in Kissimmee, Florida. He leaves his wife, Mary V. (Spinelli) Dunham; four children, Wayne F. Dunham and his wife, Patricia, of Waltham, Darlene E. Burket and her husband, William, of Nashua, New Hampshire, Denise A. Cram of Waltham and Debra K. Cody and her husband, Charles, of Gardner; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Leo was also the grandfather of the late Shawn Cram; father-in-law of the late Robert Cram and brother of the late Freeman J. Dunham and Florence Wyman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
