Leona A. O'Keefe

Leona Ann O'Keefe, of Watertown, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Watertown Health Care Center. She was 92.
Leona was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on May 29, 1926, the daughter of the late Arthur and Helena (Bates) O'Keefe. For over thirty years she had worked as a cook at the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown. She was artistic by nature and enjoyed music, crocheting and was a talented drawer. She had a strong sense of faith and was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Watertown.
She is survived by her sister, Marie M. McGean of Waltham and many nieces, nephews and their families.
She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Nealis, Victoria Gallagher and John, Anthony, David and Arthur O'Keefe and step-sister of the late Joseph O'Keefe, Mary Digou and Rose O'Neil.
Funeral services will be held privately.
