Leonard 'Dino' Mastropieri, of Waltham, died Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital after an illness. He was 65.
Leonard was born on May 18, 1956 in Waltham a son the late Italian immigrants Paul and Maria (Russo) Mastropieri.
Dino owned and operated L.M. Heating & Air Conditioning Company since 1988 and was enjoying retirement while his son, Joseph maintained the company.
He loved classic cars and trips to the casino and his dog, Dixie. He especially loved his 1963 red Chevy Impala.
Dino was predeceased by his beloved wife, the late Angela (Senzapaura) Mastropieri and his brother, Paul Mastropieri.
He leaves his son, Joseph L. Mastropieri (Tracy Gaudet) of Waltham; his sister, Lina Mastropieri of Newton; and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Dino's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Wednesday, November 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
