Waltham- Mr. Leroy R. Deneault of Waltham, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford. He was 83.
Leroy was born in Waltham on December 9, 1927, a son of the late Harry O. and Margaret R. ( Walker) Deneault and he was a lifelong resident of Waltham. He worked for the Boston Gas Company as a serviceman for thirty three years until his retirement several years ago. Leroy was a 1945 graduate of Waltham Vocational School in Waltham, enjoyed golfing, an avid Red Sox fan, and was always found puttering around the house.
He leaves his beloved wife of 61 years, Viola M. (Paone) Denault whom he married on October 29, 1949 at Saint Patrick’s Church in Watertown, his son, Russell Deneault and his wife, Wendy of Framingham, his brother, Robert Deneault and his wife, Alice, of Westford, his grandchildren, Noelle and James Deneault, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Conrad Deneault
Family and friends will honor and remember Leroy’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte.20), Waltham on Sunday, May 1st, from 2 to 6 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
