Lillian M. Alden

Waltham- Mrs. Lillian M. (Pedersen) Alden of Waltham died Tuesday June 10, 2008 at Newton- Wellesley Hospital. She was 84. Born in Bedford, a daughter of the late Julius and Lucy (Belcher) Pedersen, Lillian worked for many years for the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham and was a waitress for Hillcrest Function Facility in Waltham. Lillian enjoyed her garden, singing and playing her piano. Lillian was the wife of the late Ralph L. Alden and sister of the late William, Alvin, and Martin Pedersen, Anna Lee, Irene Anderson and Marion Sevard. Lillian leaves two sons Wayne L. Alden and his wife Charlene of York Beach, Maine and Daniel J. Alden and his wife Elaine of Waltham; three sisters Edna Wood of Maine, Helen Schena of Farmington, New Hampshire, and Margaret Cousins of Waltham; three grandchildren, Crystal, Michael, and Samantha and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
