Lillian P. Borgeson

West Newton - Mrs. Lillian O.(Cullen) Borgeson of West Newton died Tuesday September 19, 2006 in her home. She was 86. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late John and Rosa (Cilka) Cullen, she was a cook for twenty-five years for the Newton Public School System. Lillian was a 1937 graduate of Somerville High School and a graduate of Fisher Junior College. She was a Noble Grand of the Rebecca’s Sumner P. Lawrence Lodge. She was the wife of the late Ernest Fraser and Henry Borgeson and sister of the late Louise Cullen. Lillian leaves one son, John N. Fraser of Watertown; two daughters, Lillian R. Williams of Westfield and Margaret L. Lavoie of Somerville; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon Street, Newton, MA 02468.
