Lillian Elizabeth (Bourget) Stuart, also known as Genevieve, of Bethesda, Maryland, died Monday, May 14, 2007 in her home.
Born in Somerville on April 2, 1914, a daughter of the late Joseph A. Bourget of Gaspé, Quebec and Mary M. (Lewis) Bourget of Nova Scotia, she attended Memorial High School, Brighton. She moved to Washington, D.C. where she met and married Edward M. Stuart of Clydebank, Scotland.
Mrs. Stuart, in retail sales, served with Woodward and Lothrop, Best & Co., Julius Garfinkle and Walpoles of Washington, D.C. She was a long-time member of St. Ann’s Parish in Washington and, later, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bethesda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude’s Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm.
A Memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Bethesda, Maryland in mid-June, 2007.
