Chesapeake, Virginia- Miss Lillian M. Thambash of Chesapeake, formerly of Lexington died Wednesday January 27, 2010 at Chesapeake General Hospital. She was 95. Lillian was born November 30, 1914 in Waltham, a daughter of the late Biagio and Augustina (Bibbo) Thambash. A resident of Chesapeake for the past ten years, Lillian had lived in Lexington for many years and was an assembler for Baldwin, Lima, and Hamilton Corporation in Waltham for many years. Lillian leaves her daughter, Barbara L. Gibbons of Chesapeake, three sisters, Rose Thambash and Pauline Thambash both of Waltham, Theresa Kozlowski of Bedford, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Lillian was also the sister of the late Margaret Gage, Lena Beaulieu, Helen Deshayes, Marion Bussey, and Salvatore, Nicholas, and Anthony Thambash. Family and friends will honor and remember Lillian?s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte.20), Waltham on Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham
