Orange Park, Fla. – Linda M. Heath, of Orange Park, died peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2017 with her family by her side following a brief illness. She was 65.
Linda was born in Utica, New York on February 24, 1952, a daughter of the late Elsie (Cronk) Heath-Holt and Frederick Heath. She was raised in Waterville, New York and had lived in Massachusetts, Japan and in Nevada before moving to Florida nineteen years ago. Linda was a speech pathologist.
Her favorite vacation spot was along the Saint Lawrence River in upstate New York where she and her family created many happy memories. She had a lifelong love of animals and was a terrific wife and homemaker. Linda enjoyed the theatre, reading, crafting and traveling.
She leaves her husband, Eugene Kolosiej; her step-children, Lisa Kolosiej-Mitchell of Waltham, Kimberly Legrow of Brookline, New Hampshire and Kelly Varano of Needham; her siblings, Steve Heath of Stephentown, New York and Charlie Heath of Whitesboro, New York; her lifelong best friend, Linda Murphy; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was also the sister of the late Carolyn Thompson.
Family and friends will honor and remember Linda's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, May 31st from 9:30 to 11 a.m. follow by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
