Waltham - Mrs. Linda L. (Young) King of Waltham died Friday November 14th, 2003 in her home. She was 55. Born in Batavia, New York, she lived in Attica, New York before moving to Waltham thirty years ago. Mrs. King was a teacher for the Waltham School Department. She attended Attica Central High School, William Smith College, and Boston University where she received her Masters Degree in Education. An avid genealogist, she was a member of the New England Historical Genealogical Society and also belonged to the Waltham, Massachusetts and National educators associations and the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators Association. She leaves her husband, David A. King, three daughters, Rebecca L. King of Waltham, Amy E. King of Somerville, and Susannah L. King of Durham, North Carolina, her parents, Arthur and Barbara (Smith) Young of Attica, New York; one sister, JoAnne Peterson of Attica, New York and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ Church, 750 Main Street, Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham.
