Lindsey Frances White, of Watertown, died Friday, January 20, 2012 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She was 57.
She was born in Watertown, a daughter of the late David B. and Helen Z. (Zubowicz) White and was a graduate of Watertown High School. She earned a Bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Lindsey's professional career began in the library at Boston University. For over the last 25 years she worked in the library at Bentley University.
Afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis over 20 years ago she lived with courage and dignity. She loved cats, most especially her beloved 'Sammy.' Lindsey was also a fan of science fiction her favorite television program was "Far Scape." She was an active member of Hope International Church in Waltham where she was active in its bible study group.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother, Kerrin L. White.
She leaves her brother, Brian M. White of Ashland, friends and collegues.
Family and friends will honor and remember Lindsey's life by gathering in Hope International Church, 21 Bruce Road, Waltham on Saturday, January 28, 2012 where her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will be in Saint Catherine's Cemetery, Westford.
