Royalston – Ms. Lisa N. (Perry) Dawe, of Royalston, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at her home. She was 52.
Lisa was born in Groton, a daughter of Chauncy S. Perry of Waltham and the late Nancy M. (Cook) Perry. She had lived in Waltham and in Newtonville for most of her life before moving to Royalston six years ago. A 1981 graduate of Waltham High School she had most recently worked as a secretary at the Raytheon Company.
During her children's growing up years Lisa was very involved in all of their activities and volunteered at every opportunity to chaperone or host one of their events. She loved the outdoors and she loved to dance. She had a special spot in heart for animals in need of care and often sheltered them before finding new homes for them and she delighted in collecting antiques and vintage items from an age gone by.
In addition to her father, Chauncy, she leaves her children, Matthew F. Dawe of Brighton and Erik M. Dawe of Newtonville; her sister, Cynthia S. DellaCamera and her husband, Dan, of Nashua, New Hampshire and her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Lisa's life by gathering for calling hours in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, July 23rd from 4 to 8 p.m. and will conclude the evening with a period of memory sharing.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 to honor the memory of Lisa's mother, Nancy.
