Loretta A. Gallo

Lititz, Penn. – Loretta A. Gallo, of Lititz, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her home. She was 72.

Loretta was born in Newton on June 2, 1944, a daughter of the late Phillip J. and Lena A. (Gentile) Gallo. She was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Newton.

Until her retirement she worked as an administrative aide for HLM Venture Partners. Before that she held the same position with Nova Biomedical and with Medisense. She lived in Newton for most of her life before moving to Belmont in 1999. She's been a resident of Lititz for the past three years.

Loretta leaves her children, Todd P. Harrington of Seattle, Washington, Greg M. Harrington and his wife, Jennifer, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Keith P. Harrington and his wife, Theresa, of Seattle, Washington; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Daniel, Grace, Emma and Benjamin Harrington and her sisters, Irene Phyllis Gallo Murphy of Watertown and Gail Gallo of Stoneham.

Family and friends will honor and remember Loretta's life by gathering to visit from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 14th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery.
