Loretta C. Werren

Wayland – Mrs. Loretta C. (Mailhot) Werren died Friday, August 18, 2006 at Emerson Hospital, Concord. She was 89. Born in Saugus, a daughter of the late Otis J. and Mary A. (Commins) Mailhot, she was raised and educated in Lynn. Loretta lived in Waltham before moving to Wayland in 1963. For many years she was active with the Girl Scouts of America and until her retirement she worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Waltham. Before that Loretta worked as a secretary for the Raytheon Company. The wife of the late Stanley R. Werren, she leaves her daughter, Joyce C. Robinson and her husband, Frederic H., of Wayland and four nieces. She was also the sister of the late Robert and Otis J. Mailhot. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Funeral services and burial will be private.
