Lori was born in Waltham on September 17, 1967, one of seven children to the late Edward and Janice Smolinsky. Over the years she had worked as a retail clerk at various companies.
Besides her siblings she is survived by her daughters, Mandy Leigh Valentine of Springfield and Nicole Ann Kay of Waltham; her former husband, David Kay and also leaves many nieces, nephews and their families.
Funeral services are private.
