Lake Worth, FL – Mrs. Lorraine M. (Gastonguay) Cormier, of Lake Worth, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at her home. She was 79. Born in Beverly, a daughter of the late Hector F. and Anna M. (Richard) Gastonguay, Lorraine was raised in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School. She lived for most of her life in Natick before moving to Lake Worth ten years ago. Until her retirement she worked as a secretary for Transport Insurance Company. Lorraine was an avid card player and was a member of the 'Bicycle Club' in Lake Worth. Lorraine leaves her husband of 60 years, Lionel C. Cormier; her children, Kenneth P. Cormier of North Port, Florida, Carol A. Belisle of Raynham, Larry Cormier of North Carolina, Jane M. Daley of Ashland and Judy E. Lazaros of Lunenburg; her sisters, Jeanne M. Delaney of Waltham, Louise M. Griffith of Parrish, Florida, and Claire M. Taber of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her brother, Richard J. Gastonguay of Watertown; 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
