Lorraine C. Vail

Waltham- Mrs. Lorraine C. (Barboza) Vail of Waltham died Sunday October 16, 2005 at Piety Corner Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 81. Born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late John and Emma (Geswell) Barboza, she worked for many years as a secretary at Brandeis University until her retirement. She was the wife of the late James T. Vail. She is survived by her children, James T. Vail, Jr. of Franklin, Patricia A. Erba of Waltham, Kathleen M. Consentino of Dedham, Kenneth J. Vail of Bulington and Warren J. Vail of Waltham; three sisters, Emma Murphy of Georgia, Joan McMullen of Hopkinton and Patricia Cipalone of Cranston, Rhode Island, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Service from 10:15 to 11: a.m.
