Waltham - Mr. Louis A. Briganti, of Waltham, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. He was 96. Born in Paris, France a son of the late Carlo and Teresa (Giliotti) Briganti, Louis worked for ten years as a facilities manager for G.T. E. in Waltham. He had been a Waltham resident since 1946 and was a liflelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served with the United States Army for twenty years including service during World War II and the Korean War. Louis was the brother of the late Dominic Briganti and Antoinette Leonardi. He leaves his wife of fifty-eight years, Lorraine A. (Rano), one son, Robert A. Briganti and his wife, Ellen, of Littleton; two grandchildren, Christopher and Cassandra Briganti and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Saturday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20) Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
