Louise H. Antognoni, of Bedford, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 31, 2019. She was 67.
Born on March 3, 1952 in Boston she was a daughter of the late John J. and Grace Louise (D'Arrigo) Antognoni, and sister of the late John J. Antognoni Jr. She lived many proud years in Lexington before moving to "The Great Town of Bedford!" as she dearly put it, over 9 years ago.
Louise will be remembered for having a fiercely independent personality and being a fixture around town. Louise enjoyed walking to many of her favorite places including Bedford Auto parts, Prince St. Café, Starbucks, CVS and many other establishments on her daily route. Louise was a woman of many words, some better received than others, who took great pride in her appearance. Often spending hours at the local Marshalls and T.J. Maxx finding just the right sweater and accessories or getting her hair washed and colored at her salon of choice, Colosante. Louise talked fondly about the residents of the town, as well as the Bedford Police Department, who all treated her graciously and respectfully as if she was one of their own family members. She will be missed by family, friends, housemates, and staff members of the Edinburg Center.
Friends will honor and remember Louise's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rt.20) followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be private in Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
