Waltham - Mrs. Louise M. (Sirois) Bastarache, of Waltham, died Thursday, August 7, 2008 in her home. She was 63. Born in St. Ludger, Quebec, a daughter of Melina (LaChance) Sirois of St. Jean Baptiste, Quebec and the late Desire Sirois, Louise had lived in Cambridge for many years before moving to Waltham in 1968. She worked for many years as a team leader for Nova BioMedical in Waltham and in her spare time she enjoyed camping in New Hampshire, knitting and crocheting. In addition to her mother, Louise leaves her husband, Ovila 'Jack' Bastarache; two daughters, Diane M. Mancuso and her husband, Joe, of Waltham and Nancy M. Johnson and her husband, Ron, of Chelmsford; her grandchildren, Christopher, Stephanie and Nicholas Mancuso and Megan, Samantha and Erin Johnson; her sisters and brothers, Micheline Girouard of Athol, Raymond Sirois of Cambridge, Nicole Carrier of Fairfield, Connecticut, Annette Lessard, Danielle LaChance, Jeanne Tanguay, Marius Sirois, Hugues Sirois, Roland Sirois, Rene Sirois, Gilles Sirois, Rejean Sirois, Jeannot Sirois and Doris Sirois, all of Quebec; several brothers and sisters-in-law in Quebec and in New Brunswick and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
