Louise A. (Marier) Jones

Framingham – Mrs. Louise A. (Marier) Jones, of Framingham, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Saint Patrick's Manor, Framingham. She was 96.

Louise was born in Lawrence on November 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Arthur and Sarah (Crane) Marier. After graduating from Lawrence High School she attended Burdett Business School in Boston.

In January, 1956 she married Waltham native Frank C. Jones and the couple made Waltham their home. They belonged to Saint Jude Parish where Louise was a longtime member of the Ladies Sodality.

Until her retirement she worked as a bookkeeper at BayBank in Waltham. After retirement Louise and Frank moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where they happily spent the next twenty-five years. Following Frank's death Louise moved home to Marlborough in 2009 to be closer to family.

The wife of the late Frank C. Jones, she leaves her daughters, Barbara F. Donovan (Paul) of Marlborough and Cynthia J. Katz (Howard) of West Bloomfield, Michigan; her granddaughters, Megan Black (Daniel), Katelyn Donovan, Shannon Donovan, Sarah Katz (Wade Rose) and Emily Katz and is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Louise was also the sister of the late Clare Anderson.

Family and friends will honor and remember Louise's life by gathering on Monday, July 15th in St. Jude Church where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
