Natick - Mrs. Louise (Harris) Madison, of Natick, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in the Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick. She was 91.
She was born in Hinsdale, New Hampshire on May 2, 1923, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Wilbur) Harris and had lived in Waltham for most of her life before moving to Natick in 2007. Louise was a homemaker extraordinaire. She took great pride in caring for her husband, her children and her home. She was a talented cook and gifted seamstress.
Louise was the wife of the late Walter L. Madison and Donald J. Robichaud and the sister of the late Winnie Merril.
She leaves her children, Bonnie J. Stevens and her husband, Ken, of Natick and James A. Madison and his wife, Betsy, of Ashland; her grandchildren, Sean Stevens and his wife, Rachel, Melissa Escalante and her husband, David, Justin Madison, Brendan Madison and Ryan Madison; her great-grandchildren, Ryan Stevens, Connor Stevens and David Escalante, Jr.; her brother, Charles Harris, Jr. of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Louise's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Route 20), Waltham on Sunday, June 8th, from 2 to 5 p.m. and again on Monday morning when her Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.
