Worcester – Miss Louise M. Nicosia, of Worcester, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was 54.
Louise was born in Somerville on July 26, 1957, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (McGloin) Nicosia. She had been a Somerville resident and a graduate of Somerville High School before moving to Ayer and then to Worcester three years ago. She had worked for twenty-six years at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston, most recently as a senior claims examiner.
She leaves her sisters, Barbara Mullen and her husband, Matt, of Bridgewater, Frances Lively and her husband, Clarence, and Carol Mendell and her husband, David, all of Worcester; her nephews, Sean Mullen of Taunton and Matthew Mullen of Andover and 4 grandnieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Louise's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, November 13th from 2 to 5 p.m. immediately followed by her funeral service at 5 p.m. Committal services will be held on Monday morning at 11 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, 250 High Street, Waltham.
