Waltham – Mrs. Louise M. (Burley) Quinn, of Waltham, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Stone Institute in Newton. She was 87.
Louise was born in Newton on March 25, 1926, a daughter of the late James and Lillian (Fay) Burley, and moved to Waltham as a child. She was a graduate of Waltham High School and had been a lifelong member of Saint Charles Borromeo Parish.
Until her retirement a year ago Louise worked for forty-six years for Eastern Industrial Automation Company in Waltham.
The wife of the late Francis J. Quinn, she leaves her children, Francis J. Quinn, Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Sudbury, Dennis P. Quinn and his wife, Kathleen, of Waltham, Marian L. Giovannini and her husband, Frank, of Columbia, Connecticut and Paul J. Quinn of Framingham; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was also a sister of the late Thomas, James and John Burley and Mary Welch.
Family and friends will honor and remember Louise's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, January 27th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
