Waltham- Mrs. Louise A. (McHugh) Swanton of Waltham died Monday June 28, 2004 at Youville Hospital in Cambridge. She was 68. Born in Arlington, a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Arnold) McHugh, she was a Bookkeper for twelve years for Pace Services in Waltham. Mrs. Swanton has lived in Waltham for 48 years and also enjoyed spending the summers in Harwich with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a very dedicated mother and grandmother and enjoyed knitting for her family and friends. She was the sister of the late Edward McHugh, and Ruth Babineau. She is survived by her husband Leonard H. Swanton; her children Patti Caira and her husband Ed of Waltham, Janet M. IAboni and her husband Jim of So. Portland, ME; Carole A. Knox and her husband Greg of Framingham, Leonard E. Swanton of Andover, William G. Swanton of Waltham, James T. Swanton and his wife Jennifer and John J. Swanton and his wife Annelise all of Framingham, Joyce A. Pilicy and her husband Paul and Bev J. Goodwin and her husband Dan all of Waltham, one sister Anne Sylvester of Dedham. Loving Grandmother of Taryn, Jason, Luke, Emily, Danny, Kelly, Lisa, Erin, Monica, Joe, Abigail, Thomas, Kathleen, Allison, Melissa, and Paul. Great grandmother of Matthew. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Josephs Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m.
