Cave Creek, AZ – Mrs. Lucia G. (Cincotta) Pergola, of Cave Creek, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 in the Life Care Center of Paradise Valley in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 97.
Lucia was born in Malfa, Italy, on May 9, 1915, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Aglio) Cincottta. She was a talented seamstress. In addition to sewing, Lucia enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
She was the wife of the late Antonio Pergola and the mother of the late Joseph Pergola.
Lucia is survived by her children, David Pergola of Holliston, Anthony Pergola of Wrentham and Angelina Marso and her husband, Rudolph, of Cave Creek, Arizona; her grandchildren, Edward Marso, Lisa Pergola and Cheryl McNeeley; her great grandchildren, Archer McNeeley and Kevin Marso and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Lucia's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, December 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. and again at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning when her funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
