Lucille L. Boynton

Mrs. Lucille L. Boynton, of Waltham, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Care Dimensions Hospice House, Lincoln. She was 87.

Lucille was born in Tewksbury on December 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Alexander and Yvonne (Deschenes) LaFerriere. She was raised and educated in both Tewksbury and Lowell and had worked in bookkeeping at Bates Pharmacy in Waltham and later at Met State Hospital. She enjoyed bowling at the Wal-Lex, playing bingo and later in life going on 'Senior Trips'. She also loved spending time with her family at their cottage in Gilmanton, New Hampshire.

She was the beloved wife of the late Matthias G. Boynton and is survived by her sons, Mark P. Boynton and his wife, Laura, of Waltham and Mathias G. Boynton, Jr. of Needham; her grandchildren, Courtney, Ashlyn and Matthew Boynton and also leaves nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Leo LaFerriere and Rita Sheridan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Lucille's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Saturday, November 3rd at 10 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
