Lucille J. LoPresti

Waltham – Mrs. Lucille J. (MacGregor) LoPresti, of Waltham, died Friday, September 27, 2013 in her home. She was 81.

Lucille was born on February 21, 1932, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Agnes (Burke) MacGregor. She worked at Brighams for many years before becoming a teacher's aide in the Waltham public school system.

She married her husband, Nunzio Francis LoPresti, on May 1, 1954 and they settled on Gale Street in Waltham where they raised their family and lived for the rest of their lives. She was an avid reader and loved the arts.

Lucille is survived by her children, Francis J. LoPresti and his longtime companion, Brenda Lahey, of Waltham, Gary M. LoPresti of Waltham and Donna Marie Law and her husband, Jeffrey, of Billerica; her grandchildren, Vanessa and Cameron Law; her brothers, Kenneth MacGregor of Pawtucket, RI, and Philip MacGregor and his wife, Noreen, of Randolph; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Paul MacGregor and his late longtime companion, Gloria Sacchi.

Family and friends will honor and remember Lucille's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday October 1st, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m.
