Mrs. Lucy R. (Mignosa) Mitchell died Sunday September 7th, 2003 in her home. She was 89. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Salvator and Rose (Russo) Mignosa, Mrs. Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Waltham and was a Seamstress at Metropolitian State Hospital for over 30 years until her retirement in 1972. Mrs. Mitchell was a former member of Saint Jude Sodality. Mrs. Mitchell was the wife of the late George H. Pinky Mitchell and sister of the late Frances P. Broderick and Mary Dideo. She is survived by one daughter, Maureen E. True and her husband Theodore of Chelmsford; one brother, Charles Mignosa of Waco TX; three grandchildren, Kristin A. Arndorfer and her husband Chuck of Nashua, NH, Tedd True, Jr. of Chelmsford and Katie M. True of Portsmouth, NH; three great grandchildren, Ember True, C.J. Arndorfer, Jr. and Todd Arndorfer and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
