Waltham - Mrs. Lydia C. (Mattola) Pasqual of Waltham, formerly of Arlington, died Saturday May 14, 2005 at Belmont Manor Nursing Center. She was 87. Born in Somerville, she lived in Arlington for most of her life before moving to Waltham in 1993. She worked for many years for First National Stores until her retirement. She was the wife of the late Edward Pasqual and sister of the late Antony, Mario and Americo Mattola, Ada Riccobene, Emma Bonnano, Alma MacDonald, and Marion Repucci. She is survived by her son, Edward Pasqual and his wife Iona of Waltham; three sisters, Theresa DiGiacomo of Arizona, Tillie Tarzia of Somerville, and Anne Dennis of Arlington; two grandchildren, Michael Pasqual and his wife Michelle and Kristie Pasqual; one great-grandson, Anthony Pasqual and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
