Lynda J. Cox

Lynda J. Cox, of Wakefield, formerly of Waltham, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. She was 73.

Born in Waltham on December 2, 1949, she was a daughter of the late R. Donald and Edwina (Wilkie) Cox, and was a 1967 graduate of Waltham High School.

Lynda was gifted graphic designer for forty-nine years, who had a passion for creating beautiful and meaningful designs. Her work was a reflection of her creativity, her attention to detail, and her ability to see the world in a unique way.

She was also known for her love for her cats. She had a special bond with each and every one of them, and they brought her much joy and comfort. They were her loyal companions, and she loved them as if they were her own children.

A beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Lynda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves her brother, R. Donald Cox (Nancy) of Arlington and her sister, Judith Byron (Dennis) of Milford and many nieces, nephews and their families.

Services for Lynda were held privately.
