Life for each of us is defined by falls and redemptions and while we sometimes take the exit off life's busy highway now and again…that we find our way back is the key. Lynne's daily struggles with mental illness and addiction and pain have ended and she is now home in heaven. 'Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation' said the author Khalil Gibran. That hour of separation came Saturday, February 2, 2019 when Lynne died unexpectedly at home. She was 33.
Lynne was about to embark on heading back to school in efforts to eventually achieve the needed degree and training that would allow her to help others who struggled in similar ways that she had for most her life. She had hope.
Born on December 30, 1985 in Newton she was a daughter of Bruce P. and Pamela A. (Nelson) Sanderson. Raised and educated in Watertown she graduated with the class of 2004 from Watertown High School. She had a gift and passion for writing which included a lot of poetry. She had unconditional love in all of her pets…Casey, Buttons and Mango.
Lynne leaves her parents, Bruce and Pamela Sanderson; her brother, Kevin M. Sanderson and his fiancé, Christina Moreschi, all of Watertown; her uncle, Edward R. Nelson (Diane) of Middleborough; and many cousins.
Family and friends will honor and remember Lynne's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, February 8th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday morning when her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Watertown.
Memorials in her name to the Watertown Fire Relief Association, 99 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472 or Watertown Police Relief Association, 544 Main Street, Watertown, MA 02472 would be appreciated.
