Lynne M. Stanton

Lynne was born on May 1, 1956 in Waltham, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Savoy) Stanton. A graduate of Waltham High School she then earned her Associate degree.

Lynne was most happy on the sand and nearby the ocean at Salisbury Beach. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and the companionship of her dog, Titan.

She leaves her sons, David A. Freeman (Tara) of West Newton and Jeffrey A. Freeman of Waltham; her grandchildren,  Zachary Hurley, Cameron and Troy Freeman, Brandon Uttaro and Sarah Freeman; her brother, Michael Stanton (late Patricia) of Westwood; her former husband, Robert J. Freeman of Waltham; nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Lynne’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, October 9^th from 3 to 6 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
