Waltham – Mrs. Madeline J. (Graceffa) Renna, of Waltham, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Emerson Village Nursing Home in Watertown. She was 91.
Madeline was born in Waltham on November 29, 1922, a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Fanara) Graceffa, and had been a lifelong resident. Until her retirement she worked for a number of years for the Raytheon Company in Waltham.
She was a lifelong parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Waltham where she belonged to the Ladies Guild. Madeline had also been a member of the Regina Margherita Di Savoia Lodge No. 1094 of the Sons of Italy in Waltham.
Her husband of 68 years, George J. Renna, died September 30, 2011.
Madeline leaves her children, Richard L. Renna and his wife, Norma, of Westwood and Robert G. Renna and his wife, Carolyn, of Hingham; her grandchildren, Jody Chase and her husband, Matthew, of Southborough, Tobey Santamaria and her husband, Albert, of Billerica, Jessica Iannino and her husband, Michael, of Franklin and Matthew Renna and his wife, Allison, of Hingham; her great-grandchildren Colby and Natalie Chase, Chloe and Tess Iannino, Emily, Katie and Carolyn Santamaria and Michael, Jack and Kaylee Renna; her sister, Stella Brescia of Waltham and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the great-grandmother of the late Mackenzie Renna and a sister of the late Angelo Graceffa and Frances Pitts.
Funeral services for Madeline will be private.
