Waltham - Mrs. Mae A. (Rheaume) LeFort, of Waltham, died Friday, May 23, 2008 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 83. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Lucien and Mary (Pineau) Rheaume, Mae worked for many years at the Waltham Watch Factory. She was a wonderful homemaker and baker and loved to spend time with her family. She was also an avid bowler. Mae was the wife of the late Roderick J. LeFort, mother of the late Bruce and Bonnie LeFort and sister of the late Alice Sennett, Emily Latta, and Helen Egan She leaves her children, Roderick LeFort and his wife, Joanne, of Nashua, New Hampshire, John LeFort and his wife, Lynne, of Sterling, Thomas LeFort and his wife, Joanne, of Waltham and Janice Phillipo of Framingham; two brothers, Charles Rheaume and his wife, Sandra, of Belmont and Richard Rheaume and his wife, Betty, of Florida; one sister, Jeanne Rheaume of Pennsylvania, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be private.
