Manny Pasha

Mr. Manny Pasha, of Waltham, died Monday, May 23, 2011 unexpectedly at home. He was 64.

As the oldest son, Manny had an independent streak and left Bombay when he was very young and trotted across the globe from HK, Taiwan and finally made it to the US in the 1980's settling in New Rochelle, New York. He worked as a truck driver for many years and finally settled in by starting his own limousine service company in Boston, with his wife Ingrid, who stood by him and took care of him.

Manny was born in Bombay, India a son of the late Bashomal Deepchand Mutreja and Mainabai Bashomal Mutreja. He was raised in Pakistan and emigrated to the United States over 30 years ago to New York City. He lived many years in New Rochelle, NY and worked as a truck driver for various transportation companies. He moved to Waltham in 1995 and met Ingrid D. Auras. They married and he then founded Boston Limo's, a personal transportation business, based in Waltham.

Manny is remembered as a man who was a great communicator. He was fluent in many languages including Mandarin, Spanish and various dialects of India. Even when not working he could be found dressed impeccably in a tie and suit. He was a true gentleman.

In addition to his wife of 14 years, Ingrid D. (Auras) Pasha, he leaves his siblings, Prakash B. Mutreja, Phailaj B. Mutreja, Rajkumar B. Mutreja, Indra Kanchanasrani, all of India and the late Rani R. Raheja; many nieces and nephews and his beloved cocker spaniel, “Teddy.”

Funeral services will be private.
