Waltham- Mrs. Margaret J. (Shaw) Ansara of Waltham died Monday February 9, 2004 in her home. She was 83. Born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Hayes) Shaw, Mrs. Ansara was a manager for 27 years in the cafeteria for the Waltham Public Schools before her retirement in 1984. She was a member of the North Waltham Senior Citizens Club and a former member of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church Ladies Sodality. Mrs. Ansara was the wife of the late Carroll G. Ansara, mother of the late Carolyn M. Pilotte and sister of the late Charles and Edward Shaw. She is survived by two daughters, Judith E. Olcott of Centerville, Patricia M. Dutra of Marstons Mills, one brother, Dr. Leonard W. Shaw of Pittsford, NY;6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial donation’s may be made to the charity of one's choice.
