Margaret J. Coughlin

Waltham - Mrs. Margaret J.(Horning) Coughlin, of Waltham, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 79. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter of the late Edwin and Alice (Bobay) Horning, she worked for many years as an executive secretary for Russell Associates in Waltham. Margaret was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Lexington and was very proud of her family. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Coughlin. She leaves her children, Carol M. Coughlin and her husband, Chris Hoag, of San Francisco, California, Susan A. Broad and her husband, Louis, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Sally A. Rose and her husband, Harry, of Saco, Maine, Edward J. Coughlin of Waltham and Patrick J. Coughlin and his wife, Jennifer Edwards, of Brunswick, Maine; one brother, Alfred P. Horning of Dayton, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20) Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 21 Follen Road, Lexington at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
