Margaret M. Doherty

Waltham- Mrs. Margaret M. (Rollinson) Doherty of Waltham died Saturday March 26, 2005 at Meadow Green Nursing Center. She was 83. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Mary M. (Curtin) Rollinson, she lived in Newton for over fifty years before moving to Waltham. Mrs. Doherty was an Administrative Secretary for many years for the Raytheon Corporation until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Raytheon’s Quarter Century Club as well as a graduate of Saint Charles High School in Waltham. He was the wife of the late Francis E. Doherty and the sister of the late Herbert Rollinson and Edward Rollinson. She is survived by one daughter, Catherine A. FitzGerald of Brooklyn, NY and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Bernard’s Church, 1523 Washington Street, Newton, at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 5-8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Newton Public Library, 330 Homer Street, Newton, MA 02459.
