Margaret D. Gage

Waltham – Mrs. Margaret D. (Thambash) Gage, of Waltham, died Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 92. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Biagio and Augustine (Bibbo) Thambash, Margaret was a homemaker and a lifelong resident. The wife of the late Albertus S. ‘Babe’ Gage, Sr., she leaves her children, Albertus S. ‘Bert’ Gage, Jr. and his wife, Marcella, of Palm Coast, Florida, William E. Gage of Daytona Beach, Florida, Helen Petrulavage, Rosemary Maguire and her husband, Jack, all of Waltham; five sisters, Rose Thambash, Pauline Thambash, both of Waltham, Theresa Kozlowski of Bedford, Lena Beaulieu of East Longmeadow and Lillian Thambash of Virginia; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was also a sister of the late Salvatore, Nicholas and Anthony Thambash, Helen Deshayes and Marion Bussey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
