Margaret L. Gallagher

Waltham – Miss Margaret L. Gallagher, of Waltham, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 in her home. She was 80. Margaret was born July 27, 1926 in Boston, a daughter of the late John P. and Mary (Clasby) Gallagher. She had been a lifelong Waltham resident. Margaret worked for the Raytheon Corporation for over 50 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church and the North Waltham and Southside Senior Citizen Clubs. She is survived by her sister, Mary C. Joyce of Onset; many nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother, John P. Gallagher and her sister, Catherine E. O’Reilly. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
