Margaret M. Ouellette

Mrs. Margaret M. "Peg" (Chiasson) Ouellette, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Hospice Care at Barrington Terrace of Naples. She was 91.

Peg was born in Newton on August 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Burns) Chiasson. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Waltham and had worked for New England Telephone Company, Waltham Public Schools and the City of Waltham for many years before her retirement. She loved being outside and enjoyed working in her yard and garden.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Ouellette and the devoted mother of, Janice Walsh and her husband, Stephen Walsh, of Naples, Florida and Margaret Barry, and her late husband, Bruce Barry, of Austin Texas; loving Nana to her grandchildren, Keri Walsh of McKinney, Texas, Stacey Walsh-Barnes and her husband, Christopher Barnes, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, David Barry of Austin, Texas, and Christine Rains and her husband, Michael Rains, of Austin, Texas; Great-Nana of Evelyn and Andrew Rains; sister of John Chiasson and his wife, Helen, of Waltham, Jeanette Fitzgerald and her husband, Henry, of Spring Hill, Florida, Joseph Chiasson and his wife, Marcia, of Tucson, Arizona, Ester Bigham and her late husband, Harvey, of Fairhaven, Mary Choate and her late husband, Ward, of Spring Hill, Florida and the late Thomas Chiasson and his surviving wife, Hilda, of Maynard and also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately with burial in the family lot at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
