Waltham – Mrs. Margaret L. (Pennachio ) Phipps of Waltham died Monday, April 4, 2005 in Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was 80. Born in Newton, Mrs. Phipps lived in Waltham for many years. She was a retired assembler. She was a late member of the Women’s Auxillary VFW Post 2152. Mrs. Phipps was the daughter of the late Antonio and Eusebia Carrabes. She was raised by Leo and Josephine Pennachio . She is survived by her son, Daniel Phipps of Winchester; her sister, Louise N. (Carrabes) Nutile of Sudbury; her brothers, Michael L. Pennachio and his wife, Ann, of Granby, MA and George L. Pennachio and his wife Marguerite of Waltham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. The Funeral will be held Wednesday April 6 at 8 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 100 Newton Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central New England Chapter, 101 First Avenue Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451
