Margaret P. Ranucci

Waltham - Mrs. Margaret P. (Connearney) Ranucci, of Waltham, died Monday, December 8, 2008 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 87. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Manning) Connearney, she was an assembler in the power tube division for the Raytheon Corporation for over forty years until her retirement. Mrs. Ranucci was the wife of the late Anthony J. Ranucci, mother of the late Mary Frigault and sister of the late Mary Chaisson, Helen Samulonis, Dorothy McNutt, John and Joseph Connearney. She leaves her children, Joseph Ranucci and his wife, Catherine, of Athol, Patricia Aucoin of Marlboro, Jean Marie Butler of Waltham, Anthony Ranucci and his wife, Anne Marie, of Millbury, Lorraine Allain of Hudson, Margaret Pittorino and her husband, Joseph, of Littleton, William Ranucci and his wife, Debra, of Billerica, Charlene Cormier and her husband, Frank, of Harvard, Karen Maines and her husband, Stephen, of Boxboro, Pamela Roche and her husband, Richard, of Acton and Richard Ranucci of Waltham; one brother James Connearney and his wife, Anne, of Somerset; thirty-eight grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren, eight great - great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
