Margaret M. Roach

South Dennis- Mrs. Margaret M. 'Greta' (Corcoran) Roach of South Dennis, formerly of Waltham, died Monday October 24, 2005 at Eagle Pond Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in South Dennis. She was 104. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late James J. and Nora E. (Tully) Corcoran, she worked for 28 years as a bookkeeper for Parke Snow Department Store in Waltham until her retirement. She was a former member of the Waltham Bowling League, North Waltham Senior Citizen’s Club and the Waltham Golden Age Club. She was a 1918 graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Waltham. She was the wife of the late Harold N. Roach and sister of the late Mary Weagle, Elizabeth Mullen, Catherine Kiley, Ann E. Pendergast, and Clara, James and William Corcoran. She is survived by three daughters, Thelma C. 'Teddi' Patterson of Hutchinson Island, Florida, Phyllis A. Roach of Exeter, New Hampshire and Shirley N. Goodrich Regas of South Yarmouth; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday at 11:10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church 133 School Street, Waltham at 12:10 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
