Margaret M. Ryan

Downington, PA- Mrs. Margaret M. (McLaughlin) Ryan of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Waltham and West Newton, died Tuesday November 11, 2003 in Saint Martha Manor in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. She was 95. Born and raised in Waltham, Mrs. Ryan lived in West Newton for many years before moving to Pennsylvania. She was involved with Fr. McDonough’s Prayer Line, Marian Movement of Priests, and the Third Order of Saint Francis. Mrs. Ryan loved to go ice skating and was an amateur artist. She also enjoyed playing the piano at many social functions. Mrs. Ryan was the wife of the late John A. Ryan and sister of the late Arthur McLaughlin. She is survived by one cousin, Edward P. Barrett of Berwyn, PA and one niece, Joan Oates of Belmont. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday in Saint Bernard’s Church, 1523 Washington Street, West Newton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held in the church Saturday morning prior to the Funeral Mass from 8-9 a.m.
