Mrs. Margaret M. (Ferguson) Stoney, of Waltham, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Newton Healthcare Center. She was 80. Born in Keene, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Ralph and Barbara (Taylor) Ferguson, Mrs. Stoney had been a resident of Waltham since 1965. Until her retirement, she had worked for twenty-five years for the Raytheon Company in Waltham. She was also a longtime parishioner at Saint Luke's Church in Belmont. The wife of the late Ralph Stoney, she leaves her children, Doreen C. Stoney of Palmer, James J. Stoney and his wife, Judy, of Milford, Robert M. Stoney, Carol A. Ehwa and her husband, John, all of Waltham, Jean M. Sutherland and her husband, Chet, of Stow, Kathleen M. Sbordone and her husband, Anthony, of Newton and Carol A. Votano and her husband, John, of Hudson; one brother, Richard Ferguson of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Barbara Penny of Sanford, Maine, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Joseph Ferguson and Patricia Olivadoti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
