Marguerite C. "Midge" DeLuca

Belmont - Mrs. Marguerite C. 'Midge' (Scordino) DeLuca of Belmont died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 in Belmont Manor Nursing Home. She was 86. Born in Boston, Mrs. DeLuca had lived in Belmont for many years. She was a retired hairdresser who owned Naturalis Hair Salon in Brookline. Mrs. DeLuca was the wife of the late Anthony C. DeLuca, the daughter of the late Dominick and Rosina (Belfiore) Scordino and the sister of the late Camilla 'Millie' Ferrera and Anthony Scordino. She is survived by her daughers, Marie Delano and her husband Robert, of Waltham and Roseann Bishop and her husband Julian, of Belmont; her grandchildren, Leslie Oczkowski and her husband Joseph, of Waltham, Shannon Bishop of Stoneham, and Derek Delano and his wife Pamela, of Attleboro; her brother and sisters, Catherine DiGregorio and Anna 'Humsey' Scordino both of Jamaica Plain, Rose 'Dolly' Durgom of Chicago, Josephine Ceresi, Dorothy Ciavati, and Michael 'Sonny' Scordino all of Belmont, and Junie Mouradian of Roslindale; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Saturday at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 9 a.m. Entombment will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale.
